We loved Uncle Gene so much! He was one of my favorite uncles. It was so fun to get to visit at golf tournaments and watch him and Aunt Mickey enjoy golfing. Uncle Gene always took my son Josh with him to the Co-op. That was special. I love you Aunt Mickey and Hase cousins. I wish I could be there to pay tribute on Monday. I will be praying for you all.

Gene is my brother and he was the most generous person I know. He always wanted to entertain by paying for lunch and I always wanted to help pay and he wanted to pay the lunch out. I will miss you brother and you will always hold a special place in my heart. Love, your sister, Helena

I was reflecting this morning about the memories I have about Gene. We grew up with a lot of cousins to play with. Actually Gene and I were double cousins. Our Mothers were sisters and our Dads were brothers. We were in the same class and went through school together. I will always remember his laugh. We enjoyed meeting Mickey and Gene and Helena and Jim for lunch last summer and visiting. It was always good to touch base and laugh and remember all the good times. Don and I send our Love to Mickey and the family❤️
