Some of my oldest memories involve Betty when she worked at the school when I was in elementary. As a high strung kids I can remember her jokingly telling me she was going to tell my Grandma on me and laugh as I would be getting talked to by teachers. She always felt like family back then and over the years I can remember bumping into her on occasion and being one of the few people that ask how you're doing and wait for you to answer. A truly kind hearted person that impacted so many.

SEdwin, Jane, Anne and Ellen and families, I wanted to extend my sympathy to all of you. Your mom was a very special lady. I enjoyed when she would come visit with Lois in Calhan. She was always so ladylike and I often wished I could be organized and classy like she was. You will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.
